Types of Foods That Heal Our Bodies

We can heal our bodies by eating the right foods. We heal not only our bodies but also our soul, since while eating the right foods, we clear our minds and help us emotionally heal and vibrate higher.

I am going back to the South of France soon, and I am so happy to work again with my friends Zolly and Nat. This time our classes will be focusing on foods that heal. The menu will be all about an anti inflammatory way of being, and eating delicious, natural foods, adding Peruvian Super Foods.

The way we use our thoughts, stress, diet, lifestyle habits and environmental exposures, can contribute to chronic inflammation of the body. Being diagnosed myself with chronic inflammation and healed myself in a holistic way, learning the health benefits of many ingredients, gives me the opportunity to teach other people how to heal themselves too and make better choices in food. And I teach them how to cook at home.

Adding Peruvian Super Foods to our menu it is a great complement to our class. Aji Amarillo, for example, has anti inflammatory purposes, great antibacterial, anticoagulant, pain reducing and anti-diabetic properties.

Anti Inflammatory Diet Cooking Class

*Chicken and potatoes in turmeric and mint – This dish, contains Aji Amarillo pepper which is perfect for anti inflammatory purposes and high in Curcumin which increases the antioxidant capacity in the body.

*Salmon with Lima Beans, tomatoes and buttered leeks (coconut butter) – we will use another Peruvian pepper, Aji Panca, high in anti inflammatory properties, Salmon with Omega 3 fatty acids, EPA & DHA. Tomatoes are loaded in vitamin C and leeks high in vitamin B6, iron and magnesium.

*Spicy Flour-less Chocolate Cake – With Powder Aji Amarillo and a bit of chocolate salt. High in antioxidants that reduce inflammation. Improves blood flow and may reduce the risk of heart disease.

Doing my research, I discovered that grapes have great healing properties, so wine is included in the class too! Eating right can be fun and flavorful!
