Coming from a family of good home cooks, I decided to enroll in culinary school so that I would have a solid foundation for cooking professionally. After school and working for a while in different restaurants, I started my own catering business and then my own restaurant and added a Peruvian touch to the dishes I would prepare. I remember my clients loving my sazon . . . .
I have two amazing kids, Matt and Aly, my love for them is completely unconditional. Matt is 16, the kind of kid that is so sweet and at the same time works hard for what he wants. He is in high school and has big goals in mind. Aly is 12, soon to turn 13, my little bee, she is one of the most caring, loving and hard working human being I have ever met . . . .
One day, while working on my business and being out networking, I met a woman that made a comment to me about a holistic doctor in NYC that has helped her so much with her weight and I decided to make an appointment, so I met Dr. Salzarulo. Right then, I made the decision to change my life . . . .
I love exercise, running, yoga and dancing, however triathlons are endurance sports and during the process of becoming a triathlete, I overcame a lot of challenges, one of them was the fear of swimming . . . .
